Growers have used seaweed for centuries in various forms.
Garden-Ville Liquid Seaweed is a concentrate that can be mixed with water and used in foliar feedings, or mixed with other ingredients in foliar sprays.
Suggested Application Rates
Standard dilution rate, all applications: Mix 1 Tbsp of Garden-Ville Liquid Seaweed to a gallon of water in a hand sprayer. Apply as a foliar spray during the cool times of the day.
Flowers and Vegetables: Begin applications when new emerging plants have 3 to 4 leaves and continue applications every 7 to 10 days.
Trees and Shrubs:Foliar Feeding: Begin applications when new leaves emerge in the Spring. Apply every 7 to 10 days throughout the growing season. Root Feeding: Soak the entire root zone from the trunk or stem out to 2’ beyond the drip line of the plant 2 to 4 times per growing season.
Lawns: Apply Liquid Seaweed solution at the rate of 1 gallon per 1,000 square feet, 4 to 6 times during the growing season.
Seeds and Bulbs:Cutting and Rooting: Soak seeds or bulbs overnight in Liquid Seaweed solution. Saturate the soil with the same solution after planting. Transplanting: Mist foliage and root ball with Liquid Seaweed solution prior to planting and every 7 to 10 days throughout the growing season.
